This piece is a unique reconstruction by YES BECAUSE YES of the N2B flight jacket used by the US Air Force in the 1950s. While following the original design, the entire body is constructed from scratch with three-dimensional cutting, giving it a modern, sculptural quality.
The generous space and volume created towards the back of the body gives it a light, airy feel while also creating a sense of tension in the structure. The different cut of the armholes on the front and back and the raw edged pocket details create sophisticated shadows within the minimalist design.
The material used is an ultra-high density fabric woven using a combination of special threads and processing techniques. It has a soft suede-like texture while also being windproof and water-repellent, making it a functional material that seamlessly connects urban and outdoor lifestyles.
Combined with the large fur that surrounds the neck, this modern military style is unique to YESB ECAUSE YES, combining timeless luxury with functional beauty.
