This brooch was created in collaboration with LEO GON'DO.
The motif is the bamboo tubes used in tea rooms and the flower wrap used to wrap bouquets, and the piece is finished to look like a metal plate rolled into a cylindrical shape.
Following the tea room philosophy that "it is the guest who completes the piece," the piece has been left in its tubular form, leaving room for the wearer to add flowers by hand.
Although it is made of metal, it has a warm and soft appearance, as if it were being gently held in someone's hands, and it is a piece that exudes a sense of playfulness within its luxury.
A chain hangs from the bottom of the tube, with a small freshwater pearl dangling from the end.
It can be attached and detached using the pin on the back.
